Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As we get ready for summer and approach election-year restrictions, I wanted to reach out one more time to say thank you for putting your trust in me to serve you in the 25th District. The 2022 legislative session is now behind us, and several significant things happened during those 60 days.
We passed some good policies that will do positive things in Washington. However, as we head in to this interim, I feel like there were too many missed opportunities to help Washingtonians now, and in the years to come. Republicans entered this session with high hopes. We offered real solutions to the many pressing issues facing our state. But in the end, majority party Democrats passed mostly partisan legislation that failed to address most of these issues.
That's why I'll be busy throughout the interim working to make our state a better place to live for all Washingtonians. I want to increase public safety, make life more affordable for all, and limit the governor's emergency order powers, among other things.

Thank you for your feedback and please continue reaching out
Although we're not scheduled to return to Olympia till next year, I will still be working for you throughout the remainder of 2022 and into 2023. Due to election-year restrictions beginning on May 16, I will not be able to send any more email updates until after the election is certified in November. However, I am still your representative, and I will continue to be your voice in Olympia for the 25th District.
You can continue contacting me with questions, concerns, and input, so please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting with you throughout the interim in-person, over the phone, or virtually. The bottom line is I'm here to serve, and I want to hear from you. Thank you for trusting me.
It's an honor to serve.
