Rep. Cyndy Jacobsen joins TVW to discuss how Washington should be handling dangerous homeless encampments
Rep. Cyndy Jacobsen, R-Puyallup, recently joined Mike McClanahan on TVW’s “The Impact” to discuss the ongoing homelessness crisis and how to address dangerous encampments. They discussed House Bill 1380, which would create a new standard for local laws that limit access to public property for people without shelter and establish a mechanism for challenging those laws. Click below to watch and learn why Jacobsen opposes this bill and instead introduced House Bill 1255, which calls for clearing dangerous homeless encampments near schools and other vulnerable locations.
